Advanced courses like to Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics and other IB/AP/college courses are subject to higher rates based on circumstances. Standard Rates are determined after the second session, once I have an understanding of the students needs and goals. Standard Rates may vary based on course resources, preparation, & drive time. Student who require worksheets to be made for each lesson or coordination with an online platform usually.

Sessions are prorated and last 1 – 3.5 hours. You will only be billed for the time we spend educating and the student is late or searching for materials session.

Home Instruction

Student requiring 3+ hours/session or 10+ hours/week of tutoring before 2pm, receive a discounted rate. Rates may increase based on location, subjects, preparation time. Longer sessions will help reduce any drive time costs.

Cancelations / No Show

Fees (noted above) apply when canceled or moved with less than 2 business days notice.

Clients/families who cancel 3 of 8 consecutive sessions may be asked to change to a time outside to of

3-6:00p Monday through Thursday.

If a student is not present within 10 minutes of the start time, I will send a text. If I have had no response or presence within 15 minutes of start time, a no show fee will be applied.

Payment

I accept cash, check, or PayPal. I prefer check. I invoice at the end of every week as part of the weekly status update.

PayPal payments are due at 11:59p the Sunday after the invoice is sent.

If checks can't arrive before the next tutoring session, you will need to pay for multiple sessions in one check. Then you invoice will say current balance based on what is left from prepaid amount.

If payment is late, a $30 late fee and/or the upcoming session may be cancelled (with a no show fee applied) and all future payments will be due ahead of sessions and in 4+ session installments.

Small Groups

I predominantly tutor 1-on-1; however, I do work with small groups up to 4 students. Small discounts are given to each additional student's hourly rate. Students need to be covering the same course material during these sessions. This dynamic works best with students who gain motivation through competition, corroboration and support of peers.
